Life Lesson #25

In real life, you don't need to know math. If you wait long enough, someone else will always do it for you.

This life lesson actually works well for a lot of things you don't feel like doing yourself*: changing a tire, answering the phone, and cleaning up after yourself (this works better if you have a roommate or a maid).

* This list will be updated as required.

  1. I feel like its time to amend this life lesson. Knowing math is like knowing how to change a flat tire. You should be able to do it in case you're stuck somewhere alone, but it's always better if you can convince someone else to do it for you.

Pay special attention to the word problems. As in, "If you're in Eastern time, and you're meeting someone in Central time at 6 pm, and its an hour drive, what time should you leave the house?"
